History

At Millwood all children are given the chance to learn History in a stimulating, enjoyable, practical and sensory way that is completely tailored to their own needs. We aim to inspire a love of historical enquiry, and progressively develop knowledge and skills through practical and engaging activities, as well as developing chronological understanding at each pupils’ own level. Teaching will be fun, meaningful and linked to the children’s everyday life to provide context and improve understanding. History teaching at Millwood will provide children with the firm foundations for future learning.
